State Museum of Württemberg Visits the MünzManufaktur
An Inspiring Exchange About Numismatic Treasures
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from the State Museum of Württemberg to our MünzManufaktur!
The occasion was our unique collection of over 30,000 historical coin dies used for the production of commemorative coins and medals for numerous cities and communities in Germany.
Together with the museum team, we minted a new commemorative medal featuring Schillerplatz in Stuttgart – including the Fruchtkasten and Old Castle, the current location of the State Museum of Württemberg. This special piece symbolizes our collaboration and the appreciation of numismatic art.
We look forward to future projects with the State Museum and to making our treasures accessible to a wider audience. A heartfelt thank-you to the museum team for the enriching visit!
