As an absolute investment classic, gold bars have been used for thousands of years to materially secure capital, as a means of payment or exchange. In contrast to the minting bar, the casting bar is produced by melting gold. At a temperature of over 1000 °C, gold granules of pure gold are melted down and placed in a specially made casting mold, where they are subsequently hardened.

While the lower side of the cast ingot provides information on the fineness and weight of the ingot and, in addition to the product number and the manufacturer's name with the "Melter Assayer" stamp, guarantees the unrestricted bankability of this ingot, the upper side of the ingot features the popular logo of the MünzManufaktur in a square frame - a minimalist, five-pointed crown.
