250 gram gold cast ingots

In a medium weight class comes the 250g cast bar of the MünzManufaktur with a fineness of 999.9/1000 pure gold. As one of the most popular and traditional gold products, the gold bar has occupied the production of MünzManufaktur since the beginning of our operations.

Thanks to our expertise, which has grown over decades and incorporates both proven production mechanisms and the latest processing tools from around the world, we have perfected our work on and with gold bars over a long period of time. In optimal adaptation to the various requirements that gold, as a noble raw material and starting material, entails in the working process, MünzManufaktur has always produced cast and minted bars of unique quality.

 

Whereas primarily in the case of embossed bars we rely on cooperation with LBMA-certified manufacturers, and the raw bars are merely given the finishing touches in our production via their embossing, in the case of our cast bars we determine the manufacturing process from the raw material to the finished, market-ready product.

Using a heat-resistant mold made of graphite, fine gold is melted down and then placed in the mold to cool. The mold also gives the cast bar its significant embossing, which is already worked into the casting and, in addition to information on the manufacturer, the fine weight and fineness, also features the "Melter Assayer" stamp.
